Objectives of the Course Identifying the basic components of the tissue engineering approach. Defining basic cell biology and ECM from a biomaterial scientist’s point of view. Recognizing the scaffold fabrication techniques for tissue engineering. Implementing all theoretical knowledge to solve practical tissue engineering problems.
Course Content Discussing biomaterials and production methods, tissue architecture and cell characteristics, current applications for tissues and organs, and ethical approaches in the production of tissue engineering products using a combination of Medical and Engineering approaches.
