Objectives of the Course Understanding the concept of basic stem cell
Understanding the role of stem cell in tissue and organ development
Understanding the applications of stem cell.
Understanding the regulation and Ethics.
Course Content This course is designed to teach basic concepts of stem cell including functions and their characterization. Contents of the lectures include somatic stem, embryonic stem cells, pluripotent stem. In addition to an overview of stem cell¬ tissue and organ development and also their applications for based therapeutic approaches and their limitations is given.
