Objectives of the Course This course represents: How to measure the activity of enzymes and receptors; Methods for modeling a drug’s half-life; Techniques for discovering molecules with desired biological activity; Approaches for optimizing a molecule into a safe and effective drug
Course Content This course covers the contemporary topics of bioorganic and medicinal chemistry such as QSAR, Drug-receptor interactions, enzymes and molecule interactions, computer aided drug design, pharmacokinetics and click chemistry. This course also covers the understanding relationship between drugs/therapeutics and biological systems.
