Objectives of the Course
|
To become proficient with the tools that will allow you to solve a wide range of heat transfer problems both analytically and numerically
To develop an understanding of the parameters that govern heat transfer problems; these include things like time constants, thermal resistances, nondimensional parameters, etc.
To design and analyze the performance of heat exchangers and evaporators
To characterize the transient conduction problems, where temperature depends on time.
