Course Content This course is all about how researchers design experiments, interpret the results of those experiments and summarize their findings. It is intended to introduce the basic methods to describe and summarize data and methods of statistical hypothesis testing that are used frequently in psychology. The course starts with how to summarize data, distributions, sample size and statistical power; goes on with primary inferential analyses such as t-tests, ANOVA, correlation, regression and nonparametric tests.
