Objectives of the Course - To help students understand the basics of electrical systems.
- To teach how to apply the basic circuit laws and theorems in electrical circuit analysis and design.
- To help students to realize the biomedical applications of op-amp circuits.
- To help students understand and apply the basics of electronic devices such as diodes and transistors in biomedical electronics field.
Course Content This course introduces the fundamentals of Biomedical Electronics. It consists two main parts: Electric Circuits and Electronic Devices. In Electric Circuits part, DC circuits will be covered. In Electronic Devices part; Semiconductor Diodes, Diode Applications, Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT) and DC Biasing of BJTs topics will be covered.
