Objectives of the Course 1. Understand the role of ethics and stakeholder management in navigating the changing business environment and making informed decisions.
2. Apply ethical frameworks and decision-making guidelines to analyze and resolve complex business challenges.
3. Evaluate corporate responsibilities to external stakeholders such as consumers and the environment, focusing on sustainability and corporate governance.
4. Examine the impact of moral leadership and corporate culture on internal stakeholders, including employees, and how they shape ethical business practices.
5. Analyze global business ethics issues by managing diverse stakeholder interests in an international context.
Course Content This course explores ethical decision-making and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in business. Students will study key ethical theories, moral reasoning, and stakeholder theory, applying them to modern business challenges. Topics include ethical leadership, transparency, accountability, and sustainability in operations. The course also examines how CSR can create long-term value, teaching students how businesses balance profitability with social and environmental responsibilities in a global context.
