Course Content
|
The course is designed as a continuation of ECON 101 - Exploring Economics I. Basic macroeconomic issues such as determination of output, employment, unemployment, interest rates, inflation and economic growth are introduced. By the end of the course students are expected to develop an understanding of major economic institutions, functioning of markets and the challenges faced in using policy to influence unemployment and inflation levels. Students are introduced to economic models that describe significant parts of current economic system and their applications in settings of current and new events. and problems.
